Why your clean laundry may not smell as good as it should

I’ll be first to admit that I know next to nothing about our washing machine also dryer. I know how to use them, but I never perform routine checks, maintenance or repairs on them. However, there’s one little check you need to make sure is part of your clothes washing routine – and that’s  drain plug check.
Pj Carmack took to Facebook to share a tip she recently learned about washing machines. Each washing machine is equipped with a drain plug with a filter that must be removed and cleaned periodically. You should check your owner’s manual to find out where your machine’s drain plug is and how to remove it safely.

You can see in Pj’s photo how disgusting the drain plug on their washing machine had become. But with a little cleaning, it can do its job and keep the clothes in your machine smelling clean and fresh. Thanks for sharing this very little known but important tip, Pj!
