  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 slices of Texas toast
  • Butter or margarine for toasting

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with the diced onion, diced green bell pepper, and minced garlic.
