Hershey’s S’mores Cupcakes

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 12 large marshmallows
  • Hershey’s chocolate bars, broken into pieces

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the vegetable oil, water, white vinegar, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
  4. Stir in the graham cracker crumbs and mini chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove the cupcakes from the oven and turn on the broiler.
  8. Place a large marshmallow on top of each cupcake and place the cupcakes under the broiler for 1-2 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown.
  9. Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
  10. Top each cupcake with broken pieces of Hershey’s chocolate bars.
  11. Serve warm or at room temperature, and enjoy!
